Super Easy Fruit Cobbler

Kemal and I adore any kind of fruit cobbler, and since it’s one of our favorite desserts, we tend to eat it a lot. I found a recipe online last summer that’s super easy and only takes about 5 minutes of prep time. That’s way easier than making a pie. Keep in mind that you will, however, need an hour to bake it.

Use this recipe to make your cobbler with whatever fresh fruit is in season, or if you like, you can also you frozen fruit. I’ve used this recipe to make peach, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry cobbler. They were all wonderful, although I was a little disappointed with the strawberry cobbler. I’m not sure why because I love strawberries, but the other berries and the peaches seemed to work better. I also prefer using fresh fruit instead of frozen.

You can also make a mixed berry or mixed fruit cobbler if you like. You can make a three-berry peach cobbler with one cup each of blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and peaches. Or how about a boysenberry-blackberry combination. Even a blueberry-pear cobbler sounds good. :)

However you decide to make it, you can’t go wrong with this recipe. It makes the best fruit cobbler I’ve ever tasted, but I’ll let you try it for yourself so you can be the judge. :) Please don’t let my crappy photo prevent you from making a cobbler. For some reason, it was very difficult for me to photograph, but I’ve made the picture small in the hopes that it’s less visually offensive. :) The picture doesn’t do the cobbler justice at all. Trust me, your taste buds will be hooked on the first bite! :)
