
Kemal’s Incredible Pot Roast
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 to 2 pounds beef chuck roast
- 4 small potatoes
- 2 small onions
- 20 baby carrots
- water
- 2 tbsp. cumin
- 1 tbsp. sea salt
- 1 tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tsp. caraway seeds
Instructions:
- Cut the meat in half and stand the meat up vertically in the center of the Crockpot.
- Quarter the potatoes, and then put the potatoes on the bottom of the Crockpot around the meat.
- Cut the onion and put it on top of the potatoes.
- Scatter the carrots on top of the onions.
- Take a cup of water and mix the olive oil and spices in the water.
- Pour that mixture on top of everything, and then cover.
- Cook on high for one hour, and then turn the heat down and cook on low 6 1/2 to 7 hours.
