Kemal’s Incredible Pot Roast

In the winter, we tend to eat more meat, and pot roast is something we enjoy a lot. Kemal makes a wonderful pot roast, and what’s great is that it’s also quick and easy because it’s made in the Crockpot. The slow cooking makes the meat just fall apart, and it just melts in your mouth! :) Yum Yum!!!!!!! :)

Kemal’s Incredible Pot Roast

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 to 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 4 small potatoes
  • 2 small onions
  • 20 baby carrots
  • water
  • 2 tbsp. cumin
  • 1 tbsp. sea salt
  • 1 tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. caraway seeds

Instructions:

  • Cut the meat in half and stand the meat up vertically in the center of the Crockpot.
  • Quarter the potatoes, and then put the potatoes on the bottom of the Crockpot around the meat.
  • Cut the onion and put it on top of the potatoes.
  • Scatter the carrots on top of the onions.
  • Take a cup of water and mix the olive oil and spices in the water.
  • Pour that mixture on top of everything, and then cover.
  • Cook on high for one hour, and then turn the heat down and cook on low 6 1/2 to 7 hours.
